Double the Fun They Might Be Giants-Salt Lake Tribune Article

Another thing that only adults will see is The Guggenheim Grotto, a folk-pop acoustic duo from Ireland who first came to Utah to perform at this year's Sundance Film Festival. They aren't on the bill for the children's show.

Guggenheim Grotto singer Kevin May called They Might Be Giants "a great model for longevity." The group is still new to the music industry, evidenced by May's amusement that he got to meet R&B singer Montell Jordan at Sundance as well as an extra on "CSI."

The band's first album, "Waltzing Alone," is gradually garnering attention and record sales, so May has switched to using iPhones to help him write songs. It's not the first collaboration between The Guggenheim Grotto and iPhones. When the phones were first introduced, a song from the duo was available as a demo on models in American stores.

But May still had to buy an iPhone -- no freebies for him. "I am going to have some harsh words for Mr. Jobs," he joked.

Cool Puscifer Video

PUSCIFER

Tool has been blowing minds all summer at festivals like All Points West and Lollapalooza, but there’s little rest in store for front man Maynard James Keenan: He’ll be taking his Tool side project Puscifer out on the road starting this October.

The tour will be Keenan’s first with Puscifer, after debuting a stage version of the band this past February in Las Vegas. “We are compelled beyond all reason to bring the noise and share our special sauce,” Keenan posted in an announcement on the group’s website. “Although authorities suggest you be prepared for any and all possibilities, we simply suggest you arrive happy and hungry.”

Puscifer will bring its nonconventional theatrical element to Capitol Theatre on November 18. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am. Tickets will be available at All ArtTix locations, www.arttix.org, by calling 355-ARTS, 1-888-451-ARTS, all Smith’s Tix Outlets, 467-TIXX, 1-800-888-TIXX.
